What is COVID-19?   ‘CO’ for corona, ‘VI’ for virus, and ‘D’ for disease, 19 for 2019 when it was identified.  It spreads between people, often through breath droplets.  It can range from no symptoms, mild, to severe illness. Information on this website is for people with mild symptoms of COVID-19.

If you or someone is showing emergency warning signs* for COVID-19

Seek emergency medical care immediately. Call 911 or call ahead to your local emergency facility. Notify the operator that you are seeking care for someone who has or may have COVID-19.

• New confusion, can’t think clearly
• Pain or pressure in the chest that lasts or continues
• Bluish lips or face
• Can’t wake up or stay awake
